Vampire, Beware!

Notes: The letters page mentions the fact that many favorite letters were recieved for the story Hate in the previous issue. Hate was a preachy shocker about a guy in Korea discriminating against his fellow soldiers, who in the end of the story doesn't get helped by the medics, because he has red hair and the medic has always hated redheads. Clearly, this was an attempt to imitate the succes of the EC preachies if not the tone of the letters page. Stan Lee promises more similar stories in future issues, but I can't really recall if any actually appeared. Stan Lee had a short memory span even then. One of the letter writers was a S. Martin of New Jersey. Anyone know where Steve Martin lived?

The Man In Black

Notes: In this case the name refers to a man from outer space. But he does have a cape such as the (later?) Powell version has.
