Notes: The caption on the first splash probably obscures the signature, but my guess is that this might be a solo story by Dick Ayers (unassisted by his regular inker at the time, Bache). It's drawn in a slightly exaggarated style, which fits the story well.
Mike Benson is not a happy man. He has to do all the housework, while his wife is away at women's club meetings, supporting the election of a woman for president. When he goes into work for a raise, he is fired and replaced by a woman. And when he argues with his wife about staying home for a change, she pushes him aside and he hits his head against a table. In the hospital for an emergency operation, he finally realizes the truth... women are plotting to take over the world. They live longer than men... they own more real estate... they support wars where men lose their lives... they seldom get vthe death penalty... and there's more. He tells the doctor who is about to operate on him... but unfortunately, she's a woman too. - Ger A. |
