- Milton Stein worked for the Fleischer and Famous Studio in Florida in 1942, he was one of the guys who started doing comics for the Sangor Shop (through Jay Morton) while there, and when Famous returned to NYC, he continued doing comics for Sangor. When Sangor started using guys in California - Stein went to Marvel and other places., When Standard_Pines ended their relationship with Sangor, Stein went to Standard= Pines (as did Kin Platt, Vince Fago, Chad, etc). steven rowe
