Issue Notes
An interesting abortive attempt at capturing the teenage female demographic; a mix of illustrated bios of pop culture stars and teen humor characters and fashion patterns.

Betty Lane seems to reappear in modified form as Betty Blair (6 pp.) in Miss America Magazine (vol. 3) #1 (Oct 1945) and perhaps other issues. Miss Blair is likewise a school reporter who solves crimes and mysteries a la Nancy Drew.

Peggy Brooks may be related to SL-443 Peggy: "The Defective Detective!" (7 pp.) in Patsy Walker Comics #10 (Apr 1947); both are general-purpose teen humor characters. - Tom Lammers
