When Love Comes Too Soon
Notes: This is pencilled by Mike Sekowsky, the dean of 1948-1950 Timely romance artists. No one pencilled more romance stories for Timely during these years than Mike Sekowsky. The inker here is a classic example of Christopher Rule inks. Rule's women were unmistakable and the panels featuring larger figure shots or head shots are so classic Rule it makes me wonder if Rule actually redrew the heads. The Rule "straight-on dreamy stare" is here as well as the classic Rule "3/4 turn oval chin/face shot". [Rule "dreamy straight-on" stare and "3/4 turn oval chin/face" shot are Copyright 2006 Doc V.] - Doc V. |
