Stories

Notes: Unsigned Andru with all the hallmark Andru touches... the lefthand side splash, close-ups of bulging eyes... strong chinned thick lipped men... could be inked by Esposito, but it also reminds me of the few late 1954/early 1955 Andru stories that were inked by Thall (or Rosenthall). Bold inking with an eye for different surfaces. - Ger Apeldoorn.
Notes: For 1 Oct 1955. Stan Lee, Editor; Martin Goodman, Managing Editor; Monroe Froehlich, Jr., Business Manager.
Notes: Plot very similar to that of the song "Rainmaker," composed by William E. Martin and Harry Nilsson and recorded by Nilsson in1969 and the Dillards in 1970: a rainmaker gets an ironic revenge after a drought-stricken town refuses to pay for his services.
